Patrick Armstrong in Residence April 2024
We are pleased to announce Patrick Armstrong as our April 2024 scholar in residence.
During his residency, Armstrong will be developing a narrative podcast tentatively titled Asian America: Midwest Mosaic. This four-part limited series will explore the numerous Asian diasporas that exist in Indianapolis, featuring community members that span generations and intersectional identities. Each episode will cover a specific piece of the larger cultural mosaic, including history, community, the things we are missing, and the places we should go from here. With this podcast serving as a conversational starting point, Armstrong ultimately hopes to foster greater visibility for Asian Americans. Asian America: Midwest Mosaic creates a more connected, cohesive, and foundational understanding of the Asian diaspora in Indiana.
